Website terms

Website scope

These terms apply to use of this website. The content provides general security and service information. It is not legal advice, a certification, a security guarantee, or a substitute for assessment of a specific environment.

B2B-only services

The website is intended for organisations and persons acting in a business or professional capacity. Ananke Labs does not offer or conclude consumer contracts through this website.

The website presents consultancy and training services only. It does not accept orders or payments, and it does not form a service contract online.

How an engagement is formed

Sending an email starts an enquiry only. It does not by itself create a client, adviser, fiduciary, or confidential professional relationship. Services begin only when the parties accept a written proposal or contract.

The engagement documents define scope, authority, responsibilities, fees, dependencies, deliverables, acceptance, data handling, confidentiality, intellectual property, and liability. If they conflict with these website terms, the engagement documents govern the service.

Training and professional boundaries

Training content, learning level, delivery format, participant requirements, materials, and attendance documentation are agreed for each engagement. Training does not confer an external professional certification unless the written contract expressly says so and identifies the authorised certification provider.

Ananke Labs may provide readiness, control engineering, remediation, evidence, testing, and coordination support for PCI DSS, DORA, NIS2, and other requirements. Formal scope determinations, legal interpretations, certification, attestation, or validation decisions remain with the client and any legally or contractually authorised assessor, authority, acquiring bank, payment brand, or certification body. Consultancy does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Authorised security work

Offensive testing, adversary simulation, social engineering, OSINT, and physical-security work require written authorisation, defined targets, agreed timing, safety controls, escalation contacts, and stop conditions. Ananke Labs does not perform these activities on a target without authority from the responsible party.

Intellectual property, links, and availability

Unless stated otherwise, the site design, brand assets, and original written material belong to Ananke Labs S.R.L. You may link to pages and quote short passages with attribution. Substantial republication, commercial reuse, or removal of attribution requires written permission.

We take reasonable care with website information but do not promise that every item is complete, current, error-free, or continuously available. External links are provided for reference and remain under their operators' control.

Responsibility, law, and changes

To the extent permitted by law, Ananke Labs is not responsible for a decision made solely from general website content. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Service-specific responsibility is governed by the applicable written engagement.

These website terms are governed by Romanian law. We may update them when the website, services, or legal requirements change. The displayed update date identifies the current version.
